Compatibility

A1/A1 mini – OTA update in Q3 2025 will enable compatibility.
Note: AMS 2 Pro cannot dry and print simultaneously from the same unit.

Common Questions
1. Is an external power adapter required?
H2D users: No adapter needed for a single AMS 2 Pro. For multiple units used for drying, an adapter is required.
X1/P1 users: Adapter required for drying functionality.
2. Can I dry filament while printing?
Drying is not supported on AMS units actively feeding filament. You can dry filament on unused AMS units while printing.
3. Can I use AMS and AMS 2 Pro together?
Yes, they can be used together on the H2D.
4. Does it work without a printer?
No. The AMS 2 Pro must be connected to a printer to activate drying.
5. OTA Update Schedule?
