High Z-Axis Precision Printing
The Smooth PEI Plate improves Z-axis precision, ensuring consistent vertical alignment and tight tolerances. This makes it ideal for printing parts that require high-fit accuracy, ensuring optimal performance for detailed and precise models.
Smooth and Matte Surface Finish
The specially selected matte PEI sheet creates a smooth, matte texture on the bottom of printed objects, enhancing their overall appearance and quality.
Wide Filament Compatibility
The PEI plate supports a variety of filaments, including PLA, TPU, PETG, and high-temperature materials like ABS and Nylon.
Note: For filaments other than PLA, apply glue to prevent the sheet from tearing.
Magnetic Adhesion to Prevent Warping
The 0.5mm-thick spring steel plate enhances magnetic adhesion, preventing warping and ensuring print quality, especially when working with larger models or materials prone to warping (e.g., ABS, PC, Nylon).
Note: The Smooth PEI sheet is non-removable from the build plate.
Considerations
Risk of Curling: When used on the A1, the thicker Smooth PEI layer may cause plate curling or print detachment due to a reduced magnetic attraction.
Bubble Formation: If bubbles appear, heat the plate at no less than 80°C for several hours to eliminate them.
Cleaning: Regularly clean with detergent and water to maintain adhesion. Avoid acetone, as it will damage the surface.
Cooling Time: Allow the plate to cool before removing prints to avoid damage and ensure long-term durability.
Sanding: If adhesion decreases over time, gently sand the surface with fine-grit (600 recommended) sandpaper to restore it.
The Smooth PEI Plate is a consumable part and will degrade over time. The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and not cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, cracks).

Installation Instructions
