Injection-Molded Quality: Achieve seamless assembly with injection-molded-level accuracy using Bambu Studio’s Auto Hole-Contour Compensation.
5-Minute Calibration: Simple, quick calibration process to maintain long-term accuracy with minimal effort.
Bambu Lab Vision Encoder: Precision Like Never Before
Elevate your 3D printing with the Bambu Lab Vision Encoder—a cutting-edge calibration tool designed to enhance motion accuracy to below 50μm. It compensates for mechanical variances and wear, ensuring consistent results across all print sizes, especially for larger models where accuracy becomes increasingly crucial.
When paired with Bambu Studio’s Auto Hole-Contour Compensation, the Vision Encoder delivers injection-molded-level assembly for parts printed with Bambu Lab H2D, providing precision that's both simple and reliable. Whether you're designing, printing, or installing—it's that easy.
Key Benefits
Precision to Below 50μm: Using a matrix of 10⁴ Encode Markers and 5μm-resolution optical measurements, the Vision Encoder guarantees motion accuracy that’s finer than human hair. It continuously adapts to mechanical wear like belt loosening, ensuring long-term precision.
Distance-Independent Accuracy: The Vision Encoder's accuracy remains consistent regardless of print size, making it ideal for both small and large prints. For large models such as architectural prototypes and full-size functional parts, the precision only becomes more pronounced.
Injection-Molded Quality: With features like temperature-controlled chambers and pre-tuned filament parameters, the Vision Encoder helps achieve machined-level accuracy. Combined with Bambu Lab H2D and Bambu Studio, it eliminates the need for extensive post-processing, delivering components that fit seamlessly.
Quick 5-Minute Calibration: Achieve weeks of ultra-precise printing with a simple 5-minute calibration. This quick setup compensates for wear, keeping your workflow efficient and hassle-free.
Usage Tips
Calibration Over Time: Machine performance can change due to factors like ambient temperature, vibrations, and material stress. For ongoing accuracy, we recommend calibrating the Vision Encoder biweekly, especially for high-precision applications.
Not for Build Plate Use: The Vision Encoder is designed solely for motion accuracy calibration. After calibration, store it properly to avoid damage.
Pre-Calibrating Checklist:
Ensure the toolhead camera is clean and free of HMS errors.
Remove debris from the heatbed.
Confirm the Vision Encoder's surface is clean and the grid patterns are visible.
Calibrate when the heatbed is at room temperature. Avoid placing the Vision Encoder on a hot heatbed to prevent thermal errors.
