Bambu Texture PEI Plate: Enhanced Adhesion, Durability, and Compatibility
Excellent First-Layer Adhesion & Durability
Optimized manufacturing enhances the Bambu Texture PEI Plate’s durability and significantly improves the adhesion between prints and the plate, eliminating the need for adhesives in most cases. In certain situations, glue may be required for specific filaments.
Self-Release Mechanism
PEI withstands repeated heating and cooling cycles, making it ideal for 3D printing. When the heatbed cools to room temperature (recommended: 35°C or lower), prints come off easily. If prints remain stuck, simply bend the steel plate for an effortless release.
Wide Filament Compatibility
The PEI plate supports a wide range of filaments, including common ones like PLA, TPU, PETG, and high-temperature materials like ABS and Nylon.
Magnetic Adhesion to Prevent Warping
The 0.5mm-thick stainless steel plate features enhanced magnetic adhesion, preventing warping and improving print quality, especially for larger prints and materials prone to deformation (e.g., ABS, PC, Nylon).
Textured Surface Finish
The unique textured finish, created through a powder-coating process, provides better adhesion and a rugged surface that enhances the first layer’s quality.
Considerations for Optimal Use
Heatbed Temperature: Higher temperatures improve adhesion. Adjust based on filament type.
Wiping the Nozzle: Clean the nozzle in the designated wiping area before auto-leveling to avoid residual material buildup.
Cleaning: Regularly clean the plate with detergent and water to maintain optimal adhesion. Avoid acetone, as it damages the surface.
Surface Wear: The wiping area will naturally wear over time; this does not affect print quality. Sanding with fine-grit (600 recommended) can help restore adhesion.
Cooling Time: Wait for a few minutes before removing prints to prevent plate damage and ensure a long lifespan.
Firmware Updates: The latest firmware supports Micro Lidar for improved calibration and full compatibility with the automatic leveling process.
