The P1S was the printer everyone recommended to beginners. The P2S is what happens when Bambu Lab fixed every complaint about it.
What changed
- 5-inch color touchscreen — the old button-operated 2.7" monochrome screen is gone.
- One-clip quick-swap nozzle — no more tiny wires and screws to change a nozzle.
- 1080p AI camera — spaghetti detection and nozzle-blob alerts, powered by an onboard NPU.
- Stronger extruder — 70% more torque for stable high-speed printing and fewer clogs.
- Dual-band Wi-Fi and adaptive airflow that lets you print PLA and PETG with the door closed.
Top speed is up to 600 mm/s, and the 256 × 256 × 256 mm build volume covers the vast majority of prints.
Who it's for
First-time buyers, schools, and print farms. It's the machine we recommend most when someone asks "which printer should I get?" — capable enough to grow into, simple enough to start with.
Combo or standalone?
The P2S Combo ($549) bundles multi-color printing via AMS. If you ever want to print in multiple colors or materials in a single job, get the Combo.
