Introduction to 3D Printing Workshop at Cambridge Hackspace

InnoAddi is excited to partner with Cambridge Hackspace for an introductory 3D printing workshop designed for beginners, makers, educators, students, and anyone curious about how 3D printing works.

This hands-on session will introduce participants to the basic 3D printing workflow, from simple digital design to physical printed objects. The goal is to make 3D printing approachable and practical, even for people with no prior experience.

What Participants Will Learn

During the workshop, participants will explore:

  • The basics of how 3D printers work
  • Beginner-friendly 3D design concepts
  • How to create simple models
  • How digital designs are prepared for 3D printing
  • Examples of practical 3D printing applications
  • Common beginner questions about materials, printers, and project ideas

Participants will also have the opportunity to see 3D printing demonstrations and learn how this technology can be used for creative projects, STEM education, prototyping, and maker activities.
