Corrects motion drift
Mechanical accuracy can drift with use. The Vision Encoder corrects for it, keeping absolute motion accuracy within 0.1 mm across the full work area. Draw 300 mm. Cut 300 mm.
5-minute calibration for weeks-long accuracy
Place, calibrate, and go. A quick 5-minute calibration helps maintain high motion accuracy for weeks, compensating for changes caused by wear and long-term use.
Usage tips
1. Motion accuracy can change over time due to usage, relocation, and environmental conditions, including:
• Ambient temperature fluctuations
• Structural micro-deformations caused by vibration or relocation
• Mechanical wear over time
For applications requiring sustained high accuracy, we recommend recalibrating every two weeks.
2. The Vision Encoder is used only for motion accuracy calibration. Remove and store it properly after calibration.
3. Before calibrating with Bambu Lab Vision Encoder, please ensure the following:
• The transparent protective film has been removed from the Vision Encoder before first use.
• The toolhead camera is functioning properly and the lens is clean.
• The work area is clear of debris.
• The Vision Encoder surface is clean, with all grid patterns clearly visible.
